Dancers to perform with English Youth Ballet

Congratulations to Orla, Millie, Maddy B., Francesca, Megan and Elena who have all been selected to dance with the English Youth Ballet Company. 

The girls performed in front of an audience of 200 in a class audition of an hour and three-quarters.  They were chosen by a panel of judges to be among the 100 local ballet students joining the company for the Hertfordshire production of Giselle.

The young dancers danced alongside six international professional dancers in the performance of Giselle at the Gordon Craig Theatre this March.  Orla, Millie and Maddy were cast as hard-working parlour maids, Megan as a scullery maid, Francesca a villager and Elena starred in the second half as a wood nymph.
