Our Pre-Prep explorers enjoyed plenty
of exciting adventures in Stumble Trip Woods over the Michaelmas and Lent terms. Nursery and Reception children loved building nests for birds and dragons from the forest materials and creating brightly coloured streamers. Year 1 made some cosy new homes for Eeyore and went on a bug hunt! Year 2 got to grips with loppers and a bow saw to make
their own wooden medals. They also learnt about owls and their hunting habits before dissecting owl pellets to find out about their diet. Of course it wouldn’t be Forest School without Kelly Kettle which the children carefully fed with fuel so that they could enjoy a warming hot chocolate with their friends.
