Scholarships & Destination Schools
We are proud to announce that our Year 6 and Year 8 pupils have been awarded a total of 40 scholarships this year, 30 of these to Year 8. The outstanding results mean that 19 pupils out of a cohort of 30 (63%) in Year 8 were awarded at least one scholarship
to their future school, with several pupils awarded multiple scholarships.
Awards were achieved across an impressive span of disciplines – academic, sport, art, music and drama to a variety of leading senior schools including
St Albans School, Uppingham, The Leys, Haileybury,
Oakham School, Bishop’s Stortford College, Felsted, St Francis’ College and St Mary’s School, Ascot. As in previous years, our pupils move on to a wide range of schools. In addition to those already listed, other destination schools this year include Winchester, Rugby and Marlborough College.
Congratulations to all our pupils who have worked so hard to win their scholarships and places and to our staff who have played such an important role in nurturing and preparing the children for their next big step on their educational journey.
