Community

We are very much a family school and welcome the involvement of parents to enhance the education of the children.

We believe that all adults at Heath Mount play an important role within the school community and pupils are expected to show respect and consideration towards all.

An effective partnership between parents and the school is essential if a child is to have a fulfilling educational experience, and we treasure this positive relationship at Heath Mount.

Senior managers and teaching staff have an open-door policy and are usually available to parents at drop-off or collection times, although a little notice would guarantee success!

Named after one of our famous old pupils, Gerald du Maurier, the du Maurier Society is our parental association which organises social events for parents and pupils, fundraises and supports the work of the school.

As we have boarders in residence during the week, the school always seems to be full of life – rather like a large family home. For most of our children Heath Mount really is a home-from-home!
