Sports facilities

Having just completed a major investment programme, Heath Mount enjoys outstanding sporting facilities. 

The large sports hall has a rubberised floor and is well equipped. There are three indoor cricket nets, badminton and basketball courts and a wide range of gymnastics apparatus. 

The new cricket pavilion boasts an electronic score board and there is an artificial wicket in addition to three grass wickets. The recent addition of several new outdoor nets have complemented those indoor nets found in the sports hall.

The swimming pool is heated and covered, being used all year for swimming lessons, galas and sub-aqua lessons in addition to providing free swimming time for boarders in the evenings.

The new Astroturf provides an outstanding surface for hockey during the Michaelmas and Lent terms, and converts to provide 6 full sized tennis courts in the Summer term.

Two recently refurbished netball courts provide an excellent surface for girls' sports.

Dance takes place in the Chapel room which provides a large and atmospheric space for ballet and modern dance lessons.

Our extensive grounds provide space for several football and rugby pitches and space for land-yachting (blokarting)
