There was no better way to start the new academic year than our annual Fun Day as the Heath Mount community came together for a fantastic afternoon in the sunshine. From a traditional cakewalk and donkey grooming to bungee ropes, inflatables and mini golf, there
was something for everyone. The homemade cakes went down a treat, as did the champagne bar with a backdrop of supercars on display. The day raised a fantastic £14,222!
At the end of the Michaelmas term, we turned up the Christmas spirit with a wreath-making workshop for parents. The Committee harvested their gardens for foliage and Christie Barnes showed us how to create beautiful wreaths. Our green and gold branded Christmas baubles proved hugely popular and raised more funds.
As ever, the committee was on hand to provide festive end of term treats

for the whole school including an exciting workshop on dry ice with Mad Science in the Pre-Prep. The
du Maurier elves busily wrapped books to help Father Christmas on his special visit to the Pre-Prep and then made hundreds of sandwiches as they laid on a party spread for the traditional Prep School Christmas Disco with DJ Jane.
In January 2020, we celebrated the delivery of a new school minibus.
A huge thank you to the du Maurier team and to all the parents who supported our fundraising this year.
