As Headmaster of this exceptional School, I have the pleasure and privilege of educating 464 unique children. I have always believed that every child is an individual with specific talents, needs and interests and that it is the responsibility of their school to nurture these gifts whilst preparing them for life in the 21st century.
In today’s busy and pressured society, safeguarding childhood is an increasingly rare pursuit; however, a happy childhood is an essential foundation for well-being and success. As educators, we have a responsibility to prolong the best aspects of childhood whilst developing aptitudes within our pupils of resilience, critical thought, curiosity, collaboration and reflection.
Our School combines academic excellence with an outstanding pastoral framework because our teachers understand that happy children learn best. I am immensely proud of every individual within our community and hope that you will come and meet some of these exceptional people during a tour of our School.
I am privileged to lead this community of staff and pupils and hope that you have gained a sense of how our people, young and older, make the core of this School so special.
