Private School Fees Hertfordshire

Dear Parents

Although, like most of the country, we have soldiered on through sub-zero weather conditions over the past few days, Heath Mount has avoided the worst of the snowfall. It has been, however, magical to see our pupils playing in the snow against the backdrop of the Grade I listed Heath Mount school premises. If you have not yet seen the six-page article about our 18th century building in the February 14th edition of Country Life, please stop by Reception to view a copy; it is well worth a read. This week has heralded the arrival of World Book Day, and a rich array of characters greeted us today at the culmination of a week that included visits from published authors, teacher-led guided reading sessions and even World Book Day-themed food. If I could wish for one thing this weekend, it is that you will find time to share the pleasure of reading together with your children – whether it be one of your favourite childhood storybooks or their current passion. Reading with children will not only contribute significantly to their learning development, but also provide a valuable opportunity for you to listen to and share your thoughts with them as you discuss the book together. I hope that you enjoy delving into the riches of literature with your children this weekend, interspersed with as much fun in the snow as your fingers, toes and nose can stand!
