Private school fees

Dear Parents

The cold winds and artic blasts have certainly not detracted from what has been an incredibly busy first half of Lent Term at Heath Mount. Our children have, once again, surpassed all expectations on the sports pitches, in the swimming pool, in the theatre and in their studies and I have watched with pride as they have each tackled this Term’s challenges (sometimes quite literally on the rugby pitch!).

This week, our Year 4 pupils produced two stunning performances of ‘The Pirates of the Curry Bean’, showing off their wonderful acting, singing and theatrical skills. I would like to thank Mrs Jones and the Year 4 team, as well as Miss White and Mr Pay for all the hard work they put into making this such a wonderful experience for all of our children. We look forward to the Year 7 & 6 play and our Year 3 class assemblies next half term.

I must also congratulate several of our children who have sat their Scholarship exams. We have heard back from just over half of the Senior Schools to date, but our pupils have already amassed 29 academic, art, drama, music and sport Scholarships. Any pupil who sits a Scholarship paper or test has to submit to the rigour and discipline of Scholarship preparation and I commend all of our candidates for their preparation over the Christmas break. All of our pupils have worked extremely hard throughout January and February and now deserve a well-earned rest. I look forward to welcoming them back after half term and hope that you enjoy the break with them.
