Thank you to all of our pupils and staff who supported yesterday's Mufti Day by paying a donation to wear denim and a brightly coloured t-shirt for two wonderful causes! We raised a brilliant £1,073 for @its.neveryoucharity, in loving memory of Heath Mount pupil Hugh, and @jeans_for_genes to support those living with a genetic condition. A further £50 was raised through the sale of Jeans for Genes pin badges. It's Never You supports parents of seriously ill children with their Children's Cancer Platform and also advocates for paid leave and support for families in crisis through Hugh's Law. The Jeans for Genes campaign raises awareness of the daily challenges faced by those living with a genetic condition and raises money to fund projects that make a tangible difference to the lives of those affected. #charity #community #heathmountfamily

The U11 boys travelled down to Bryanston in Dorset for their football tournament yesterday, enjoying a fabulous afternoon of football and a very promising start to the season. Out of 8 games played they achieved 7 wins and a draw, conceding just one goal to win the tournament. Well done, team! A big thank you to @bryanstonsport for hosting us.

Our Year 7 art scholars and enrichment group members devoted part of their summer holiday to completing these stunning bird portraits and life-like sculptures. Which breeds can you recognise? Well done to all of our young artists who have made such a super start to their art scholarship and enrichment pathways. Over the next two years, they'll enjoy extra art sessions each week, mentored by our talented in-house team of artists who specialise in everything from fine art to printing, pottery and textiles. Less than 3 weeks to go until our annual Fun Day! All Heath Mount families and alumni are warmly encouraged to come along and enjoy an afternoon of live music, delicious food, games and brilliant inflatables as well as go-karting with our friends @letsleapholidaycamps. There's also the chance to be a nature detective with the team from @woodhallestate.uk and we'll be looking for some star bakers in our Heath Mount Bake Off tent. Alumni can purchase their entry wristbands in advance by emailing dumaurier@heathmount.org or on the day. Current parents will be able to purchase via Classlist shortly and we will also be selling tickets in the Heath Mount Cafe on selected days from next week.
