What a glorious week it has been for our first cricket matches of the season, with pupils across the year groups enjoying fixtures in the sunshine against our friends at Kingshott. It was a pleasure to see the enthusiasm from our youngest to most experience teams. The U13 squads made a stellar start, with a clean sweep of wins across the board for both boys and girls. It's been an egg-citing few days in Nursery as we watched our six fluffy chicks hatch in the incubator! Their arrival sparked a conversation on the difference between hens and cockerels and inspired some lovely artwork and dough modelling. The anticipation has started to build for our Charity Colour Run on Saturday, June 13th. To mark tickets going on sale, Mr Naylor and Mrs Cope decided to dial up the excitement... After running a fun quiz in assembly, our fearless duo gave the winning pupils free rein to coat them in paint powder at morning break and - as you can see - they didn't hold back!! We can't wait to see everyone covered in rainbow shades as we take on our charity challenge in the glorious grounds of the Woodhall Estate. We'll be raising money for our Zambian education partners including Twende Education For All which provides play therapy and in-hospital learning for children undergoing treatment for cancer and sickle cell anaemia. #charityandcommunity #colourrun #letsdoittogether

Yesterday, we were able to bring together our three @iapsuk teams who achieved two golds and a silver at this year's national netball finals. Headmaster, Mr Gillam, congratulated the girls on achieving the best netball results in the school's history, and paid tribute to coaches Sophie Meister and Katie Brooking. Over the past three years, Heath Mount School have not only qualified for every single national IAPS netball final in every age group, but achieved 5 national titles, 2 silvers and 1 bronze. It's a phenomenal record, and recognises how far our netball coaching programme has developed under the leadership of Miss Meister.
