Our amazing catering team served up 660 delicious Christmas lunches with all the trimmings for pupils and staff yesterday! An enormous thank you to our catering manager Mrs Dixon, all the chefs and staff from @holroydhowe, and our very own Year 8 waiters and waitresses who provided table service for everyone else before sitting down to enjoy their meal. There were plenty of cheers and rounds of applause echoing through the dining halls for those who had contributed to Operation Christmas Feast! Mrs Adams visited @keechhospice yesterday to deliver a bumper donation of toys from our Pre-Prep community and they were gratefully received by Keech Hospice fundraiser Louise. A big thank you to everyone who contributed! Our Christmas charity drive has also included donations of food and festive treats for @haven.first thanks to our Lower School Reverse Advent Calendar which saw everyone giving rather than receiving in aid of a brilliant local charity. Finally, our Middle and Upper School families generously donated items to @jedidiahuk to help re-stock their food stores for local families who are struggling. We were grateful to several Year 8 volunteers for putting together individual 'pantry packs'. What an amazing response from the whole school, thank you! #seasonofgiving

A group of Heath Mount mums joined us for a festive wreath making workshop this morning hosted by our parents' association, the du Maurier Society. Boosted by Christmas music, homemade cake and coffee, the group got to work and in 90 minutes had produced some spectacular wreaths featuring foliage from the school grounds as well as lights, dried fruit, velvet bows and feathers.
