  • Members of our senior craft club as well as pupils and staff across the Prep School have contributed some beautiful handmade items for tomorrow's charity craft stall. Parents are invited to come and support the stall which will be located in the Lower School Courtyard between 2.30-4.45pm. It's the ideal chance to stock up on Christmas cards, decorations and gifts - all in aid of our Zambian charity projects. We'll also be selling raffle tickets for our Heath Mount Hamper! Stall items include: *Amazing stuffed fabric tree decorations made by Craft Club *Cards designed by Lower School Digital Art Club and Year 5 pupils *Mini penguins made by pottery teacher Mrs Wood *Homemade Mincemeat *Hand-sewn tree decorations and keyrings made by Craft Club *House colour keyrings and more... We look forward to seeing you there!

  • After a close-fought final against our hosts, Heath Mount's U13 netballers emerged as overall winners of the @harrodian Netball Tournament yesterday. The girls didn't stop giving their all right up until the final whistle and they should be very proud of their performance. As their coach, Miss Meister, put it: "they worked their socks off!" Congratulations to the team and a big thank you to the Harrodian sports department for a super day of netball. #netball #passionforsport #sportingexcellence #privateschool #hertfordshire

  • The laughs kept coming at Heath Mount's first ever Comedy Night on Friday. Our amazing parents' association, the du Maurier Society, magically turned our theatre into an intimate comedy club to play host to comedian @paddylennox and his friends @stefanompaolini , @eleanortiernan and @otizcomedy . Parents and staff relaxed at the cabaret-style tables and enjoyed drinks and a delicious buffet supper while enjoying the varied acts. We're incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and creative parents' committee whose volunteers give up so much of their time to create these community-enhancing events. A huge shout out to the team, and to Paddy, for a night to remember... we hope to see you back again next year!

  • Well done to the 23 pupils who starred in our Rush Hour Concert last Tuesday, with many performing a solo on their instrument for the very first time. We were so impressed by their confidence and enthusiasm and enjoyed a wonderful variety of music, with the cello, voice, cornet, recorder, piano, violin, flute, guitar, and drums all featuring. Many of the children will be taking their music exams next week and we wish them lots of luck with their final preparations!
