Year 1 children delighted us all with their joyful performance of 'Snowman at Sunset' this week. From the laughter of dressing up a member of staff ready for the snow to the magical moment when a snowman came to life on stage, their heartwarming show gave everyone watching a festive boost. This morning, it was the turn of Pre-Nursery and Nursery children to hit the stage of our performing arts centre. We were so proud of the children, some of whom are just 2-years-old, for singing and dancing in front of a big audience and reminding us of some of the very special traditions surrounding Christmas. #heathmountchristmas #preprep #nursery #prepreplife #hertfordshire #hertford
Our U11 girls have triumphed at the England Hockey East Regional finals today in Ipswich! Despite the wet and chilly weather, the girls started strong and stayed focused from the very first whistle, kicking off the day with an incredible 8-0 victory against Stamford. Every game was filled with passion and smart play with each team member playing a vital role - from game-saving tackles to superb goals. We met Beeston Hall for the second time in the final, clinching a 1-0 win thanks to a decisive goal. It was a fantastic day of hockey, teamwork, and resiliencewell done to the girls on becoming regional champions! #hockey #eastofengland #regionals #passionforsport #schoolsport #hertfordshire
The U12 boys had a fantastic afternoon at the @haileyburyuk U12 Rugby festival yesterday, emerging as overall winners. It was made all the more special by the fact that it was refereed by former Heath Mount Head Boy, Will! Mr Elliott was hugely proud of the boys who remained calm under pressure and produced some of the best school rugby he has seen, particularly in the game against Mill Hill. Our U11s, meanwhile, headed to@bryanstonprep Rugby Festival, winning two games and losing two in challenging conditions. They coped brilliantly with downpours and mud galore and, most importantly, had fun! Finally, we were also very proud of our U13 rugby players who played in the @iapsuksport tournament at the start of the week and finished second in their group by just one try. After their 2-1 loss against Framlingham, they bounced back to win three games in a row against Spratton Hall, King's College and Cheltenham. A big thank you to all the schools who hosted us this week and to our Heath Mount sports staff for encouraging the boys every step of the way. #schoolrugby #passionforsport
