Our Reception pupils re-enacted The Scarecrows Wedding in the beautiful autumnal sunshine yesterday, joined by their proud parents. Forest School leader Ranger Shenton brought Julia Donaldson's classic story to life, providing a woodland trail for the children to find bells, shells, feathers and flowers for the wedding of Betty O'Barley and Harry O'Hay. The joyful afternoon finished with a rousing rendition of 'I'm A Dingle Dangle Scarecrow!' House Spirit was in the air at morning break as our first House competition of term got underway. Congratulations to Woodhall House who put in a determined display to win the obstacle relay for the yellows!
