This talented trio have just helped @hertford_hockey_club become national champions for the first time in 39 years!! We're incredibly proud of Billy, Xavi and Will who all played brilliantly at the National Finals last Saturday. The club won their group games 5-2 v Haslemere, 6-0 v York, 5-1 v Clifton Robinsons making it to the final versus Spencer which they won 3-0 to become champions. Huge congratulations to the whole squad on their superb achievement. Boys' hockey has become hugely popular at Heath Mount and we're passionate about supporting pupils who want to take their game to the next level through our co-curricular clubs programme and sport scholarship enrichment pathway. @englandhockey #ilovehertford @hertslife
A look back at some of the high-adrenaline moments from our recent NASA trip... On Thursday, parents of the children who went on the Florida STEM adventure joined us for a special assembly and screening of the trip film. We hope the memories made will last a lifetime! #adventure #enrichment #schooltrips #NASA #STEM #privateschool #hertford
Heath Mount history made! The U11 girls' football team is heading to the National @isfafootball Finals after winning Regionals. During the day the girls were unbeaten and did not concede a single goal throughout. After winning our group and a tense semi final which went to penalties they progressed to final where they faced Brentwood School. Thanks to a superb goal by Evie, we won 1-0 and were crowned champions. The girls will now move into the national finals held at the national football centre, St George's Park. A huge congratulations to the whole squad on this incredible achievement! #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #girlsfootball #prepschool #hertford #privateschool
Congratulations to the 20 pupils who performed so beautifully in the Senior Scholars Concert last night. They all dressed up for the occasion and looked like professional performers as they took to the stage! Thank you to Mr Gillam for capturing the traditional group photo in the interval - perfectly timed with the stunning sunset. Every pupil performed to an exceptionally high standard, demonstrating remarkable confidence and musical maturity. Highlights included a moving vocal performance of 'Far From the Home I Love,' an expressive 'Czardas' on the violin and a wonderfully atmospheric harp performance. The variety continued across flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, cello, viola, piano and percussion, each performed with outstanding confidence and flair. The programme showcased an impressive range of repertoire and instruments, with musicians from Year 6 through to Year 8. All are either currently on our Music Scholarship Programme or, in the case of the Year 6 pupils, have been awarded music scholarships and will begin their enrichment pathway next year. #music #scholarship #excellence #privateschool #Hertford
