Thank you to everyone who came out to support our charity colour run yesterday in aid of Twende Education For All and Namoomba School, Zambia, and especially to our army of volunteers and the @woodhallestate.uk for providing the spectacular course. The morning began with a brilliant warm-up session by Mr & Mrs Archer before everyone took to the start line for a rainbow-hued countdown. As they ran the 2.5k loop, everyone enjoyed the amazing vistas from the other side of the Broadwater back towards the main mansion house. Back at our Event Village, the children loved the archery sessions provided by our friends @letsleapholidaycamps and we all tucked into the delicious BBQ run by our wonderful parent volunteers. A huge extra thank you to Thomas Abel-Smith for providing the incredible drone footage over the Woodhall Estate.

Year 7 have dived into the activities at their Abernant Lake Residential in Wales, rising to the challenge of paddle boarding, raft-building, archery and climbing as well as learning a few key survival skills. Our athletes delivered an exceptional set of performances at the East Area Prep School Athletics Championships, bringing home a phenomenal 10 medals: 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, while securing 8 National Finals qualifications. Leading the way were our six East Regional Champions: Charlie (U12 1200m), Romilly (U13 Hurdles), Zura (U13 100m), Billy (U13 shot put), William (U13 200m) and the U13 boys relay team. They all achieved gold medals and a coveted place at the National Finals. Silver medals and national qualification were also achieved by Florie (U13 javelin) and Lucas (U13 hurdles). There were further podium finishes for Billy (U13 javelin) and Poppy (U13 long jump), who both earned bronze medals, while several other athletes recorded impressive top five finishes. To have 6 regional champions, 2 runners-up and 8 National Finals qualifiers is a remarkable achievement and reflects the hard work, commitment and talent across the squad and our coaching team. Huge congratulations to Charlie who is the new @iapsuk u11 50m butterfly champion and broke the current record, and to Billy who won silver in the u12 breaststroke, just 0.01 seconds off gold!
