We were delighted to welcome fine artist Michelle Parsons @easelandcanvas to Heath Mount yesterday. Michelle hosted a multi-media, fish-themed workshop for our Year 7&8 art scholars, helping them hone their use of colour, depth, texture and contrast. It was an inspiring, energised start to term and the perfect practical preparation for some of our scholars who will be sitting their scholarship exams shortly. Welcome back to the Lent Term! It's certainly been a chilly start, with temperatures dipping to -8C this morning and an afternoon snow flurry, but the children were full of excitement to see their friends again and loved investigating the frosty grounds together. There's a huge amount to look forward to over the coming weeks including our Orchestras & Ensemble Concert and singers' recital. Some of our senior pupils are gearing up to compete in the regional LEGO Robotics League competition at the Institute of Engineering and Technology in Stevenage and rehearsals are already underway for the Year 4 play! #welcomeback #heathmountfamily
