We offer weekday private tours with Mr Gillam, Headmaster, for prospective families looking for places in Nursery up to Year 7.

News & Events

  • Year 7 pupil Billy recently represented the Anglian Eagles at the regional U13 hockey tournament in Nottingham, helping them win the championship. He has now been selected to train with the UK Lions for a 12 month period. We are very proud of Billy, who has done exceptionally well to earn a place in this prestigious squad a year early. He will enjoy training camps both home and abroad and get to play some high level, competitive hockey. Billy contributes so much to our school teams and is one of our dedicated sports scholars - enjoying a bespoke training programme designed by our highly experienced sports staff as part of our Year 7&8 Sports Enrichment Pathway. @anglianeagleshockey @uklionshockey

  • Did someone say water fight? Some great scenes on the top field yesterday afternoon as our senior pupils cooled off with an official watergun fight followed by a well-earned ice lolly! Across the school, teachers have been helping pupils beat the heat in the most fun ways possible, including lessons in the woods and plenty of water play. Well done to everyone for persevering this week! #heatwave

  • Year 8 had a fantastic week on their Leavers' Residential in Yorkshire, making the most of a packed programme of activities and time spent together as they celebrate the final weeks of their Heath Mount journey! Our Class of 2026 took part in a brilliant tug-of-war challenge at @ampleforth_college_, tried out bouldering and padel, tackled the assault course and zip line at the North Yorkshire Water Park and caught some amazing waves during a surfing session with Dexters Surf School. There was also time to explore the historic city of York, enjoy the sunshine, and fit in a little shopping as well as the chance to relax and play games at our base, @queenethelburgas. For those feeling especially energetic, Mr Russell's Run Club proved a popular way to start each morning. This week they have been working on their samba drumming, street dancing and acting skills as part of their expressive arts programme - we can't wait to see the results tomorrow!

  • Inspired by the work of contemporary artist @joeegamble, our Year 6 artists were tasked with drawing the art room from their table viewpoint. Take a look at some of the brilliant responses. #creativearts #art #drawingskills #perspective
