A Proms Finale For The Summer Concert

250 Performers Delight With Patriotic Programme

Parents were treated to a patriotic programme of music in the PAC.  The Music Department Summer Concert, held over two evenings, showcased the talent and hard work of nearly 250 Heath Mount Pupils. Performances included a slick and stylish rendition of the James Bond Theme from the Jazz Band, impressive playing from the string ensembles, and energetic and expressive singing from Heath Mount’s four choirs.

The whole evening was rounded off with all 250 instrumental players and singers coming together to perform a new version of Rule Britannia (created especially for the occasion by Head of Music, Mr Fisher) and a ‘Last Night of the Proms’ favourite, Land of Hope and Glory. The finale was full of pomp and circumstance and left everyone feeling very proud to be a part of our wonderful school.
