Little Rangers & Rhyme Time Groups Every Monday and Friday
We are excited to be launching two FREE toddler groups for children under 4 .
Heath Mount's Little Rangers will take place in our magical woodland every Monday from 9.30-10.30am from February 23rd. Led by our experienced Forest School leader, Ranger Becky, it's a chance for parents and toddlers to engage with nature together and grow their child's sense of wonder and curiosity. Every session will involve the chance to make something together as well as explore, play and socialise with other families.
Little Rangers aims to boost physical skills through active, outdoor play as well as gross motor skills. Playing in the forest also helps to foster confidence and resilience through hands-on learning in nature, encouraging managed risk-taking and independence. We also hope that these sessions give our Little Rangers an early appreciation of nature and the importance of protecting animal habitats.
Heath Mount Rhyme Time launches on Friday 27th February and will take place in our Nursery. Led by our experienced Early Years music teacher, Miss Vicki, sessions will include singing, baby sign and stories. Little ones and their carers can spend a joyful 30 minutes singing along to favourite songs with Vicki and her ukelele, join in the beat and have an introduction to different musical instruments and their sounds. Parents and carers can stay afterwards for coffee and tea in our theatre cafe.
Places for both sessions are limited and can be booked via our website.
