Congratulations to our inspirational sports department! We are so proud to have been awarded the Muddy Stilettos Award for the Prep School that's most 'Passionate About Sport'. Over 500 schools entered the awards, in association with Debretts Education, and we are thrilled that the judges recognised our unique and holistic approach.

At Heath Mount we ensure that sport is inclusive and that pupils experience both its mental and physical benefits. Last year was a record-breaking year for us in terms of national and regional achievements as well as sports scholarship awards to senior schools. Our revamped sports scholarship programme and unique PE programme have helped boost results as well as develop children's enthusiasm for staying fit and healthy.

It is with immense pride that we accept this award in recognition of the passion and dedication shown towards all aspects of sport at Heath Mount.  I am incredibly lucky to lead a department that inspires pupils and fosters a lifelong love of sport. We always pride ourselves on the opportunities we provide for all pupils to represent their school regularly in a variety of sports, and the enthusiasm that shines through in every lesson. We celebrate every success, from nursery pupils doing their first fundamental movements session to Year 8 pupils achieving on the national stage. I am delighted that this has been recognised by the judges and extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to the entire Heath Mount community for supporting us on our journey."
