Tayt on stage with fellow cast members Dan Burton and Sophia Ragavelas

Year 7 pupil stars in King Of Pangea at The King's Head Theatre

12-year-old pupil Tayt Silvester-Stoller saw his dream of performing in a professional role become a reality this weekend as he starred in Jerry Mitchell's new musical production, King Of Pangea, at Islington's King's Head Theatre.  The talented thespian was picked for the role of Young Sam Crow alongside cast members Alfie Blackwell (also making his professional debut), Olivier Award nominee Dan Burton, Sophia Ragavelas, Emily Tang and Mark Curry.  This Wednesday, Tayt will be performing again for the show's Press Night and throughout June until July 6th!

King of Pangea is a new, 'soul-stirring' and highly original folk musical about a young man's journey of hope following the death of his relentlessly positive mother from cancer.  Heart-breaking and heart-warming in equal measure, the imaginative production is packed with catchy songs full of pathos and humour.

Tayt, who is also a talented dancer and a Heath Mount drama scholar, sings and acts throughout the 90 minute performance.  He has lit up the Heath Mount stage on many occasions, including a memorable turn as a tap-dancing donkey in Shrek! The Musical Jr.  We are very proud of him and hope he enjoys every minute of this incredible experience.
