We are delighted to hear that former Heath Mount pupil Emilio Ballard-Matthews has signed his first professional contract with Wolves FC.  The 17-year-old rising star joined the club's academy just two years ago in the summer of 2023 and is excited about the future. 

“Last season I showed glimpses of what I can do, but now this season I’m looking to get a run of games consistently and show what I can do to help the team,” he told the Wolves media team. 

The talented left-winger, who previously represented England at U16, is hoping to get into the Wolves under-21s team and have the chance to train with the first team. 

It has been wonderful to watch his trajectory from a schoolboy who loved his football and lit up the Heath Mount playing fields, to becoming a professional player in such a short space of time.  We look forward to following his progress.
