Year 7 Pupils Return Home After 6 Days Of Sports Fun Around Lake Garda & Verona

Arriverderci Italy! After 6 amazing days, our sports tour group has arrived back home to Hertfordshire with some wonderful memories of time spent in Lake Garda and Verona.

The Year 7 pupils enjoyed netball and football fixtures against local teams as well as volleyball, ultimate frisbee, swim relays and more - making the most of the superb sporting facilities at the Veranello Resort. They also took advantage of the beautiful scenery of the Dolomites and Lake Garda, sampled plenty of pizza and gelato and had huge fun at Gardaland amusement park.

On their last day, the group headed to Verona where they rafted around the city walls before joining a city tour and visiting the famous Juliet balcony.

A big thank you to the sports staff, led by Mr Elliott, for organising such an exciting new trip!
